Dulux Promise Exterior Primer

Product Description Dulux Promise Exterior Primer is a good quality, water-based primer for external surfaces. Its unique Anti-Peel formulation ensures superior adhesion for the paint film, thereby resisting peeling or flaking of the topcoat. Application Description Step 1 : Surface Preparation For areas that are severely affected by algae or fungus, application of Pre-Treatment coat is recommended. Avoid application of putty or filling compound while painting an exterior surface. Step 2 : Application process For best performance it is recommended to apply 1 coat of Dulux Promise Exterior Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. On horizontal surfaces, self-priming of the topcoat material is suggested with additional coats of the same. For surfaces that remain powdery, friable or chalky even after thorough preparation, application of top coat material as primer with 1:1 dilution in water is recommended. Step 3 : Drying time Dulux Promise Exterior Primer is normally surface dried in 20-30 minutes and recoatable after 4-6hours. Health & Safety Collect spillage. Dulux Promise Interior Primer

Product Description Dulux Promise Interior Primer is a good quality primer having good adhesion to interior masonry surfaces, both new and previously decorated such as brickwork, plaster, cement, fibre boards, etc. It is specially formulated to give good filling property. Correct application of primer assures better quality and durability of the finished coat. Application Description Step 1 : Surface Preparation All surface should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and thereafter, wiped off. Suitable remedial measures should be taken, in case of water seepage/leakage problems. Fungus affected areas need separate treatment. Step 2 : Application process Apply a coat of primer. If required, use ICI Ready Mix Wall Filler or any other oil-based putty to fill cracks and dents and make the surface uniform and free from undution. After sanding the puttied surface, apply another coat of primer. Allow primer coat to dry overnight before application of finish paint. Step 3 : Drying time Prime surface with a coat of Dulux Water Based Cement Primer or Duwel Acrylic Primer and allow it to dry overnight. Use Dulux Acrylic Wall Putty to rectify cracks / dents and smoothen out the surface. Allow drying for 4-6 hours. Apply a second coat of Dulux Acrylic Wall Putty and allow it to dry for 4-6 hours. Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 to smoothen the putty surface. Wipe off loose particles. Apply another coat of primer on the puttied surface. Allow drying for 4-6 hours. Sand the surface with Emery Paper 380 and wipe clean. Primer-Putty-Primer is a must to get the desired effect of topcoat. Health & Safety Store container in an upright position, with lid tightly closed in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children and away from food and animal feed.
